  Bob Davee
Founder
B.S. Mechanical Engineering, University of Maine
Worchester School of Industrial Management

After a career in industrial engineering, and with skills in carpentry and fine woodworking, Bob brought his family to Camden in 1968 and bought a contracting business. Changing the name to Maine Coast Construction, he quickly established a reputation for professionalism, accountability and clear communication. Thousands of customers later, Bob turned MCC over to the leaders who shared his philosophies and entered semi-retirement. If you come by at the right time, though, you just might catch a glimpse of his warm smile.
  John Davee
President and Chief Executive Officer
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, University of Maine

John first worked for MCC as a teenager. Then, after graduating from college, he worked for two large electric power companies and was responsible for the operation and quality control of various systems and equipment. By the time he rejoined MCC in 1987, his expertise included not only carpentry but also welding and steel construction. These skills complemented the commercial work MCC has been involved in now for more than thirty-five years. Today, in addition to serving as president and CEO, John heads the company's Commercial Division.
  Mark DeMichele
Vice-president and Chief Operating Officer
B.A. Seton Hall University

Mark joined MCC in 1986 after running his own construction business in New Jersey for 10 years. He had also worked as a restoration carpenter and project foreman in Florida. At MCC, Mark served as construction manager until 1993 when he became manager of the Residential Division as well as chief operating officer responsible for the day to day operations of the company. He is a member of several historic preservation organizations and past president of the Mid-Coast Chapter of the National Association of Homebuilders.
  Anne Toothaker
Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer
B.B.A. University of Texas at El Paso

Anne has been responsible for all of MCC's financial activities since 1991. She joined the company after serving as the corporate controller for a national mail-order and retail business that specializes in woodworking tools, as well as for a local building supplier. Along with John and Mark, Anne is charged with seeing that MCC maintains the highest standards for professionalism and customer satisfaction.
